Deeeelicious recipe: Apple Oatmeal Crisp
I’ve been wanting to make this for a while, and after finding this recipe and making it tonight, it turned out amazingly. I added some of the crumble to the bottom of my pan and added a bit to the apples as well, before placing in pan. I suggest for anyone to try it out too – you won’t be disappointed!

This week it’s all about the Greek-ness. Delicious tzatziki (pronounced ta-zee-kee) is a great addition to pitas, beef souvlaki or even grilled chicken breast because it’s amazing as a dip or spread all over. Here’s an easy recipe which I found online:

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 16 ounces (2 cups) of thick Greek yogurt – if you can, try regular Greek or Middle Eastern yogurt for bettter results, instead of non-fat
- 4 to 10 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup of diced or grated cucumber (Kirby or “English”)
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
Preparation:
Prepare all ingredients in advance. Combine oil and lemon juice in a medium mixing bowl. Fold the yogurt in slowly, making sure it mixes completely with the oil. Add the garlic, according to taste, and the cucumber. Stir until evenly distributed. Garnish with a bit of green and serve well chilled.
Yield: about 2 1/2 cups
